Without a doubt the Macklind Avenue Mile is one of St. Louis' most unique races. Put on by Big River Running Company, it is the area's largest one mile road race with nearly 1,500 registrants in 2012. This year the event will take place on Saturday June 29th, 2013.
5 distinct races including the popular friends and family wave (non-competitive, recreational, walkers, strollers), men's competitive, women's competitive, elite and the kids' quarter mile dash.
The race is a ton of fun and will once again feature a post-race party.
"Totally Rad" Macklind Avenue Mile Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top three in each male and female age division.
