Without a doubt, the Macklind Mile is one of St. Louis' most unique races. It is the area's largest one mile road race with nearly 1,500 registrants that doubles as an outdoor, family-friendly party with beer, food, kids' activities, and more!

6 distinct races including the popular friends and family wave (non-competitive, recreational, walkers, strollers), men's competitive, women's competitive, dog mile, elite and the kids' quarter mile dash.
The race is a ton of fun and will once again feature a post-race party.
If you want to run with your children or your significant other be sure to sign up for the friends and family wave!

The Kids quarter mile dash has been a huge hit! The race will begin at 9:50 near the intersection of Winona and Macklind. All finishers will receive a ribbon. We do have youth shirt sizes to accommodate all of our younger participants.
Men's Course Record- 4:00.9, Jeremy Doherty, 2008. Women's Course Record- 4:39.81, Margo Richardson, 2015. A bonus of $250 will be presented to the winner breaking the course record.
Men who have run under 4:30 for a mile in the last year and women who have run under 5:30 in the last year are eligible for the elite wave. We will take the top ten male and female entrants. Elite awards will be separate and there will be a $250 bonus for a course record (men or women – winner only)!
